It’s Bui T.A. (18 years old), living in Tuyen Quang, had a serious road traffic accident and was admitted to provincial hospital for emergency care, then patient was quickly transferred to Viet Duc University Hospital for surgery.

Mr. Bui Thanh Phuc, MD – Emergency Abdominal Surgery Department, Viet Duc University Hospital said: Ms. A.’s pancreatic was damaged and broken in two at tail, a hematoma with size 4x5cm, rupture is 4cm long. At Viet Duc University Hospital, through examination and clinical test, patient was also detected a dermoid cyst, also called teratomas 5×8 cm in size, with mucinous liquid, hair, skin have been exposed, the mass is slightly attached to the right fallopian tube, and the ovaries are normal.

Luckily, she was able to have surgery in time for being able to attend high school graduation exam for the 2020-2021 school year scheduled in July.
