Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS) accredited the Global Certificate to Viet Duc University Hospital – Opportunities for integration and development

 

Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS) it is an independent agency with many activities, including surgical evaluation and ranking and accreditation global certification under strict criteria. The surgical training facilities not only in the UK but many countries as well also want to be certified by RCS to promote and prestigious in training and quality of their surgeons, not only in domestic but also international standards.

 

In the past time, Viet Duc University Hospital has received active support from Facing the World (FTW) in the process of preparing the application and organizing for RCS council to verify via online format 2 times in 2020. Then the council had meetings again and the result comes out after 2 months.

 

Previously, in order to receive a globally valuable certificate, Viet Duc University Hospital had carefully prepared and received the consent from Board of Members with extremely rigorous evaluation criteria.

 

On December 11, 2020, RCS held an online assessment and highly appreciated the training at hospital. On February 3, 2021, Viet Duc University Hospital was officially recognized by RCS as a global standard training center with effect from February 2021 to February 2024. After the above time, RCS will conduct an appraisal to renew and maintain the certification.

Launching ceremony of Telemedicine system under ODA project of German Government – contribute to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for patients

 

In order to help and support difficult circumstances in remote and mountainous areas to access modern medical care without having to move to major hospitals in the central line, contribute to cost savings of patients and reduce hospital overloading, Viet Duc University Hospital officially launched the Telemedicine system under the Decentralized Health Project at Viet Duc University Hospital and provincial hospitals supported by ODA capital of German Government … Realizing the humanistic significance of this project, German Government has been very assisted and supported Viet Duc University Hospital and beneficiary hospitals with ODA capital to ensure that the system will be install and put into operation effectively in health care for people in Vietnam.
