Viet Duc University Hospital promotes cashless payment

On June 17^th, Viet Duc University Hospital (VDUH) and a MoMo Electronic Wallet have signed a cooperation to promote the implementation of an electronic payment into the VDUH’s payment system for cashless payment.

 

Ass. Prof. Dong Van He PhD., Vice Director of VDUH said, the implementation of a cashless payment help patients when visiting VDUH for consultation have many options according to their demands and their locals and technology approach. With a simple operation, patients and their relatives can pay all the expenses without queuing, reduce waiting time, simplify the process and don’t need to bring a big amount of cash.

 

“Each time when the patients visit the hospital for consultation, money deposit, payment, it’s tired and time consuming. Carrying cash is inconvenient and unsafe, thus payment via e-wallet will be convenient for them with a simple process and no long waiting. For the hospital, it is a big step forward which contributes to transparent and simplified process for a better service to patients”.

 

With diversifying non-cash payment methods, all patients who visit VDUH for consultation have several options according to their needs and suitable for their locals and technology approach. With a simple operation, patients and their relatives can pay all the expenses immediately without queuing, reduce waiting time, simplify process and don’t need to bring a big amount of cash. At the same time, it saves cost and human resource, as well as helps the hospital management safely and efficiently.
