In-depth and updated knowledge from the Mentor Connect Workshop – Optimizing aesthetic results by using new-generation breast implants Memorygel Xtra

On the afternoon of November 3, 2023, Viet Duc University Hospital in collaboration with Johnson & Johnson (Vietnam) Company successfully organized the Mentor Connect Workshop – Optimizing aesthetic results by using new-generation breast implants Memorygel Xtra with many high practical valuable reports. The workshop was held with the nearly 200 participations who are doctors and experts on cosmetic surgery from hospitals and institutes across country.
On the side of the Organizing Committee for this event, there were Mrs. Pham Thi Thuy Ngan, MA – Business Unit Manager, Cerenovus & Mentor product, Johnson & Johnson Vietnam; Ms. Arianti Jovita – SEA Medical Advisor Ethicon, Johnson & Johnson; Ms. Thiramonth Theeraporn – Medtech Medical Advisor SEA, Johnson & Jennie; and especially, the presence of leading experts in the field: Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Hong Ha, MD, PhD – Head of Department of Plastic – Maxillofacial – Aesthetic Surgery, Viet Duc University Hospital; Dr. Marc Pacifico – President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; Professor, PhD. Wixtrom Roger – President of Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI-USA) and other experts, speakers both domestic and abroad.
Speaking at the opening, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hong Ha, MD, PhD said: “In the world as well as in Vietnam, breast augmentation surgery is growing rapidly and accounts for a high proportion of all types of surgery. Using new-generation breast implants is one of the most popular and advanced breast cosmetic surgery methods. Researching and improving techniques to optimize aesthetic results using breast implants is very important. Besides, overcoming and handling post-operative complications also requires the expertise and skills of cosmetic surgery experts. Therefore, this event is an opportunity to share and update in-depth knowledge, contributing to improving professional capacity in cosmetic surgery in general and breast augmentation in particular.
Through the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to share experiences and update knowledge on: The effectiveness of using new-generation breast implants Memorygel Xtra in clinical cases; Myths and truths about the safety of breast implants. In addition, the balance between patient expectations and long-term effectiveness is also an issue emphasized during this event as well as a topic discussed by doctors and experts.
