Mr. Bui Thanh Phuc, MD – Emergency Abdominal Surgery Department, Viet Duc University Hospital said: Ms. A.’s pancreatic was damaged and broken in two at tail, a hematoma with size 4x5cm, rupture is 4cm long. At Viet Duc University Hospital, through examination and clinical test, patient was also detected a dermoid cyst, also called teratomas 5×8 cm in size, with mucinous liquid, hair, skin have been exposed, the mass is slightly attached to the right fallopian tube, and the ovaries are normal.

Patient was examined and tested to exclude Covid-19 for early surgery, contributing to improving the effectiveness of treatment.

Now, Ms.A is stable, can normally eat and walk around.

Mrs N.T.H.G, A’s mother, said: “While riding an electric bicycle, she suddenly got into a traffic accident. Luckily, she was able to have surgery in time for being able to attend high school graduation exam for the 2020-2021 school year scheduled in July. I hope the door leading to university will open for her. My family is grateful to the doctors. Wish the doctors and medical staff a good health to devote to people’s health care career.”
