“We pay special attention to the medical staff of Vung Tau Hospital on infection control procedures at the COVID-19 treatment area, from meticulously evaluating all protective gear to each batch of N95 masks according to the standards to ensure the highest safety. Due to the concentration of virus in the recovery area is very concentrated, the requirements for masks and protective gear must also really meet the new standards. At the same time, we have to develop a process to put on and take off protective gear, and a process to move around in the center. Everyone who comes to work must be strictly controlled to avoid cross-contamination between patients – medical staff and between staff to preserve the force, “said Dr. Luu Quang Thuy – MD, PhD.

Dr. Luu Quang Thuy – MD, PhD affirmed, since entering the city up to now, we have seriously implemented the policy of “one road, two destinations“. In particular, medical staff are only allowed to move from their residence to the hospital to change PPE to work. At the end of the shift, medical staff must take a shower and then get out of the car to go home immediately. “That’s why we can see the sea from afar, hopefully one day not far, I will be back with my wife and 2 children to Vung Tau as the tourists to enjoy swimming, exploring the land and culture here”, Dr. Luu Quang Thuy – MD, PhD expressed.
