Awarding the official decision for approving the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Viet Duc University Hospital for the term 2020 – 2025

On September 28^th , 2023, the Standing Committee of Hoan Kiem District Party Committee has awarded the official decision approving the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Viet Duc University Hospital for the term 2020 – 2025 to Dr. Duong Duc Hung, MD, PhD – Director of Viet Duc University Hospital.

Attending this event, there were comrade Tran Duc Hieu – Member of the Standing Committee, Head of Hoan Kiem District Party Committee’ s board; Comrade Tran Thi Thu Hoai, Deputy Head of the Hoan Kiem District Party Committee’s Board and other leaders of the District Party Committee, District Inspection Committee, and Internal Political Security Department of Hanoi City Police; comrades in the Party Committee, Director Board, Party units, and leaders of centers/departments of the hospital.

Speaking at the event, comrade Tran Duc Hieu – Member of the Standing Committee, Head of Hoan Kiem District Party Committee’s board addressed his congratulations to the Viet Duc University Hospital and the new Party Secretary of Hospital for the term 2020 – 2025. Viet Duc University Hospital is the largest surgical hospital of country with many outstanding professors and surgeons. The Hospital Party Committee is one of the Important Party Committees in the Hoan Kiem District, with 13 party cells and 455 members. Over the past years, the Party Committee has focused on implementing well the Party’s resolutions, paying attention to building a strong unit, and taking care of doing good political work.

Because 2023 is a special and important year, Hoan Kiem District is focusing on drastically directing the implementation of key projects in the district, also on successfully implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress, Resolution of Issued the twenty-sixth Hoan Kiem District Party Committee. In the coming-up- time, Hoan Kiem District Party Committee requests that the Party Committee of Viet Duc University Hospital should continue to pay attention and direct the promotion of political and ideological education, management and training of party members in terms of ability to complete tasks, moral qualities, lifestyle, social relationships; to encourage, motivate, and create conditions for party members to improve their professional qualifications; to strengthening propaganda and ideological and political education for party members with the extensive and effective implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo on promoting, studying, and following Ho Chi Minh’s ethical ideology and style through practical actions in daily days.

In responding, Dr. Duong Duc Hung, MD, PhD – Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Viet Duc University Hospital thanked and expressed his honor when the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health trusted in him and offered him the position of Viet Duc University Hospital Party Committee’s Secretary for the term 2020 – 2025, simultaneously, he also thanked the Hoan Kiem District Party Committee comrades for always giving good sentiments and closely directing the hospital’s activities.

Hopefully, in the coming-up-time, with the position of a leader, comrade Duong Duc Hung will work with the Board of Directors, the hospital Party Committee and other civil servants, public employees, and workers to continue to unite and complete successfully assigned tasks, to be worthy of a leading center for medical examination and treatment, training and scientific and medical research.
