Behavioral standards in patients care – Renovating the image of medical staff at Viet Duc University Hospital through behavioral communication

The training session on behavioral communication in patients care – Renovating the image of medical staff at Viet Duc University Hospital through behavioral communication was held at Ton That Tung Hall.

In the afternoon of November 8, during the training session “Standards of communication and behavior in patients care – Renovating the image of medical staff at Viet Duc University Hospital through behavioral communication”, Prof. Tran Binh Giang – Director of the hospital, gave talk for more than 3 hours to raise knowledge and experience in communication and behavior, towards the satisfaction of patient and family member.

 

At the beginning of the training session, Prof. Tran Binh Giang has introduced the gratitude letters from patient and family to doctors and medical staff at Viet Duc University Hospital. In order to gain their trust, love and respect, doctors and medical staff have constantly improved their expertise, medical ethics, communication and behavior with the patient-centered criteria for improving the quality of patient care.

 

 “Patient and family members often feel anxious and depressed when coming to the hospital, which requires medical staff to have both professional qualifications and good communication and behavior skills. The empathy and sharing of the doctor are an important factor that contributes to making patients feel secure and cooperate in treatment, so that they really feel confident and satisfied”, emphasized Prof. Tran Binh Giang.

Medical staff should always improve their communication and behavior skills
