Exciting Fair of connecting Capital vocational education with the labor market in 2023

On May 14th morning, Hanoi Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with The Long Bien District People’s Committee to successfully organize a Fair to connect Capital vocational education with the labor market in 2023 at the Long Bien District Culture – Information and Sports Center in.
Attending the event were: Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee; Mr. Pham Vu Quoc Binh, Deputy Director General of Directorate of Vocational Education (MOLISA); Ms. Bach Lien Huong, Director of Hanoi Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs; Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Hoa, Standing Vice President of the Hanoi City Confederation of Labor, and the Leaders of Long Bien District.
Speaking at the Opening, Ms. Bach Lien Huong said, this is the 4th time in the past 5 years (2019 – 2023), the organization of fair to connect Capital vocational education with labor market has been held on a large scale. With a practical meaning and effectiveness confirmed in practice, the fair continued to grow in size with the participation of 7,000 people, including: 5,000 senior students at secondary schools, High schools, Vocational Education Center – Continuing Education participate in career counseling and vocational education enrollment; 2,000 students, students of vocational education institutes and laborer participated in the Job session; 51 vocational education institutions directly participated in enrollment counseling and vocational skills demonstrations at 70 booths; 30 typical enterprises,…
The fair took place in 3 main groups of activities: the signing ceremony of training cooperation, cooperation between vocational education institutes and enterprises; career counseling, vocational training enrollment for students graduating from secondary schools and high schools; activities of the Job session. In addition, the Fair also has side activities such as: Exhibition, Products Presentation, self-made training equipment models; demonstrate typical professional skills.
Honored to be representative for 51 vocational education institutions participating in the Fair, Assoc.Prof.TS.BS. Nguyen Manh Khanh – Deputy Director of Viet Duc University Hospital, Principal of College of Viet Duc Medicine and Medical Devices said: The fair connecting the capital’s vocational education and training with the labor market in 2023 creates an organic relationship between the supply and demand of workforce between employers and the labor market, the cooperation between vocational education institutes and enterprises. This is considered an important step in developing cooperation, improving training quality, and providing good job opportunities for students after graduation. With the current shortage of teachers and workers, the fact that students and parents are interested in the School’s Health and Medical Devices Facility is a suitable choice for future orientation. Identifying this problem, the University has always promoted improving the quality of training and create conditions for students to connect with the labor market.
At the end of the fair, many students also expressed their excitement when participating in the Fair to connect the Capital’s vocational education with the labor market in 2023, because they learned about training enrollment information of middle schools and colleges for professional career. This will be a useful information channel for students to refer to after graduating from high school.
