Exciting Viet Duc University Hospital Table Tennis Tournament 2023

In order to promote physical training, sports, and health training for officials, workers and public employees as well as encourage employees to strive to complete work plans of 2023 and at the same time celebrate the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19^th, 1945 – August 19^th, 2023) and the Vietnamese National Day (September 2^nd, 1945 – September 2^nd, 2023), the Trade Union Executive Committee coordinated with the Youth Union Executive Committee of Viet Duc University Hospital to organize the Table Tennis tournament of Viet Duc University Hospital in 2023.

Participating in the table tennis tournament were: Associate Professor, Dr. Le Tu Hoang, Chairman of the Hospital Trade Union; MSc. Nguyen Lan Huong, Vice Chairman of the Hospital Trade Union; Dr. Bui Thanh Phuc, Secretary of the Hospital’s Youth Union and all athletes from many departments, centers and Viet Duc College of Medicine and Medical Equipment.

After a period of enthusiastic practice and competition; The tournament ended in the spirit of honesty, unity and fierce competition, showing the determination of the athletes. The final results are as follows:

1. Men’s single prize:

– First prize: Phan Anh Sy (Department of Septic Surgery and Wound Care)

– Second prize: Truong Hoai Son (Pharmacy)

– Third prize: Phan Nhat Anh (Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine)

– Consolation prize: Nguyen Van Uy (Training and Direction of Healthcare Activities Center)

2. Men’s double prize:

  – First prize: Pham Minh Cuong (Department of Nephrology and Dialysis) and Nguyen Van Thanh (Administration Department)

– Second prize: Phuong Van Toan (Medical Department) and Vu Manh Thuoc (Administrative Department)

– Third prize: Phan Nhat Anh (Nuclear Medicine and Imaging Center) and Bui Van Quynh (Cardiovascular and Thoracic Center)

– Consolation prize: Dinh Van Quynh (Department of Clinical Examination) and Nguyen Truong Giang (Department of Administration)

3. Movement prize

– Nguyen Thi Van (Department of Microbiology) and Nguyen Van Thanh (Department of Administration)

– Nguyen Thi Kim Lien (Department of Rehabilitation) and Nguyen Van Uy (Training and Direction of Healthcare Activities Center)
