Sweating is also common, especially in the palms when being nervous. Depending on the causes, people divided into different types of hyperhidrosis.
Among hyperhidrosis types, the most common one is primary hyperhidrosis. In this case, the nerves responsible for triggering overactive sweat glands, even though the nerves not activated by physical activity or an increase in temperature. Currently, the Laparoscopic Surgery Center, Viet Duc University Hospital has successfully operated on for hundreds cases of palmar hyperhidrosis due to sympathetic hyperactivity, bringing normal life to patients. Surgery for patients with thoracic sympathectomy is a high efficiency surgery, safety and quick recovery.
The surgeon approaches the patient’s chest by two very small entrances about 5mm size. With the operating room equipped the modern laparoscopic sets, surgeons can check clearly all rgans in the chest, and at the same time determine the exact location of the sympathetic nodes for ablation.
