Many overseas Vietnamese have returned to Vietnam for seeking the medical treatment

From last year, Department of Colorectal and Perineal Surgery, Viet Duc University Hospital has received many patients who have been treated for diseases such as perianal abscesses or fistulas in other countries such as Poland, Hungary, Japan, England, New Zealand, etc… however, that problem was not cured or relapsed made them to seek further treatment at Viet Duc University Hospital. There, their disease has been cured with good outcomes. Additionally, the patients were so excited because of being cured in their own hometown and cared by relatives. On the other hand, administrative procedures and costs are more convenient, comparing with other countries.

Mrs. NTNA, 30 years old, is an overseas Vietnamese living in New Zealand. In last 5 months, she gave birth to her first child normally, the labor process was difficult, causing the perineum and sphincter were ruptured. She underwent three time surgeries in New Zealand, each time was about 1 month, however her problem was hardly improved. She has been informed that she might have to undergo many surgeries and treatment like that for year. Extremely bewildered, she and her family determined to return to Vietnam for seeking the opportunities, she also brought her baby back to Vietnam to ask her grandmother to take care during her hospitalization. She was operated on and cared for at Department of colorectal and perineal surgery, Viet Duc University Hospital. 10 days later after surgery, she was discharged from the hospital. She and her husband (an Iranian man) were so excited for the result of the surgery was very good and the great care of nurses of Hospital gave her every day. She and her husband wrote letter to thank the hospital and the health staff.
