Online meeting for kidney transplant patient club was held at Viet Duc University Hospital

Currently, the need for physical and mental care of patients before, during and after treatment is increasing. Besides, with efforts for improving the service quality, innovating styles towards patient satisfaction by training a qualified team of doctors and nurses, investing in new technology, the activity style of club for patients is also .
On December 12, 2021, the Department of Kidney diseases and Hemodialysis held an online meeting for transplant patient group at Viet Duc University Hospital aiming to disseminate the knowledge – annual discussion for transplant patients, also to disseminate the knowledge and annual discussion for patients with chronic renal failure undergoing cyclic hemodialysis. This is a meaningful activity held annually at Viet Duc University Hospital.
Attending the online meeting, there were Dr. Nguyen The Cuong, MD, PhD – Head of Department,and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Phan Hai An, MD, PhD – Former Head of Department as well as doctors, nurses in the department and all the members of club at Viet Duc University Hospital.
Dr. Nguyen The Cuong – Head of the Department of Kidney diseases and Hemodialysis was at the meeting and shared knowledge online.
At the program, the members of the club who attended were disseminated useful knowledge by doctors such as Chronic transplant rejection (Assoc. Prof. Ha Phan Hai An, MD, PhD); Cancer after transplantation (Doctor Man Thi Thu Huong); Tuberculosis after kidney transplantation (Doctor Nguyen Thi Thuy); Hemodialysis techniques in patients with chronic kidney disease (Doctor Nguyen Xuan Nam); Prevention of Covid-19 infection for patients with transplant kidney (Bachelor Dao ThiThuy Duong); Parenteral nutrition for patients undergoing undergoing cyclic hemodialysis (DoctorHoang Thi Diem).
At the online meeting, the questions from the members of “Viet Duc University Hospital’s Kidney Transplant Club” were answered directly by experts. This activity helps to strengthen the relationship between doctors and patients and disseminates more valuable experiences and knowledge to help patients take better care of their health.
