Playing game while charging the phone, a young man hand was exploded

This is a patient with hand severe damage due the phone exploded that was taken in by Viet Duc University Hospital.

 

 

Patient V.V.T (resided in Hanoi) was brought to hospital with upper lip wound of 2x2cm in size, crushed wound of finger 1,2 lose soft tissue completely; 1^st finger amputated, wound of 3^rd finger on left hand, 3cm wound of right leg, and other wound in the interosseous manus sized 5x2cm wide.

 

Through investigation, patient injured by the phone explodes when charging while playing game. Patient was timely operated on to treat the wound.

 

Dr. Nguyen Hoang Quan – MSc, Upper Extremities and Sport Medical Department informs: Patient underwent surgery to treat the amputated of finger 1,2; suture wound of 3^rd finger, treat wound in the interosseous manus as well as the leg wound.

 

Doctors warn: In recent time, it occurs many accident by phone explodes while charging which causes amputated limbs, face burns. Therefore, everyone should not use phone while charging to avoid incident.
