Providing the knowledge on National Defense & Security for 4 objects at Viet Duc University Hospital in 2023

Pursuant to the Law on National Defense and Security Education promulgated on June 19, 2013; pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 13/2014/ND-CP dated February 25, 2014 detailing and implementing measures to the Law on National Defense and Security Education; pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 139/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020 amending and supplementing some articles of the Government’s Decree No. 13/2014/ND-CP; Recently, Viet Duc University Hospital has organized 02 training courses about the knowledge on national defense and security for 4 objects who are the party members and officers in 2023. The participants were 700 staff of Viet Duc University Hospital.

Attending the Opening ceremony and directing the programme, on the side of the Hanoi Capital Command were Comrade Tran Duc Tho – Assistant to the Militia and Self-Defense Department, General Staff, Hanoi Capital Command. On the side of the Military Command of Hoan Kiem District, there was Comrade Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thien – Member of the Standing Committee of District Party Committee – Commander of the Military Command of Hoan Kiem District – Standing Vice Chairman of the District Security & Defense Education Council. On the side of the Hospital’s Military Command, there were: Comrade Tran Dinh Tho – Commander of the Military Command – Vice Director of the hospital; Comrade Bui Thanh Phuc – Deputy Political Officer of Military Command – Head of Personnel Department. Attending the opening ceremony and participating in the lecture were Comrade Trinh Quoc Thu – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Military Art History, Academy of Politics.

Comrade Tran Dinh Tho Commander of the Military Command – Vice Director of the hospital said: Over the past years, Viet Duc University Hospital has always fulfilled its tasks of national defense and military work in the local and urban areas, was concerned, directed by superior leaders and well organized to perform the tasks of building the Self-Defense Force, reserve mobilization, training, and defense sports and well perform the task of being ready to fight to protect the agency during the Holidays, Tet new year or important political events taking place in the capital. Viet Duc University Hospital organizes training on national defense and security knowledge for 4 objects, which shows the seriousness of grasping the policies of the Party, State, Hanoi city and Hoan Kiem district for the training of national defense and security knowledge for Party members and officers in accordance with regulations. Comrade Tran Dinh Tho hopes that, with a short time and a lot of content to know, the participants need to focus on the basic contents of national defense in the locality, as well as need to be deeply aware of the research and learning issues to apply in the process of performing tasks according to the assigned responsibilities, contribute to the construction of national defense and military task of hospital, agencies and local  organizations.

At the ceremony, Comrade Dam Manh Tien, on behalf of the trainees, said: Thoroughly grasp the documents of the Party, Government and Ministry of National Defense on national defense and security education in general and foster national defense knowledge and security in particular, each of us is deeply aware that studying and fostering knowledge of national defense and security is the obligation, responsibility and interest of Party members and officers; fostering national defense and security knowledge is one of the mandatory standards, one of the criteria to consider promoting and appointing leaders and managers in agencies and organizations at all levels and branches. Thereby improving the qualifications and comprehensive capacity to advise and propose in leadership, direction and organization to perform tasks with higher quality and efficiency.

At the course, Comrade Trinh Quoc Thu – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Military Art History, Academy of Politics presented the topics:

– Topic 1: The Communist Party’s lines and views, the policies and laws of the State of Vietnam on national defense and security

– Topic 2: The Communist Party’s lines and views, the policies and laws of the State of Vietnam on socio-economic development in association with strengthening and consolidating national defense and security and foreign affairs in new situation.

– Topic 3: The Communist Party’s lines and views, the policies and laws of the State of Vietnam on the protection of political, economic, cultural, ideological security, and state management of security and order in the new situation.

– Topic 4: The Communist Party’s lines and views, the policies and laws of the State of Vietnam on ethnicity and religion associated with national defense and security in the new situation.

– Topic 5: Preventing and combating the strategy of “peaceful evolution”, riots and subversion of hostile forces towards Vietnam.

– Topic 6: Basic content of the national border protection strategy; manage and protect Vietnam’s sovereignty over seas and islands in the new situation.

– Topic 7: Basic contents of the Law: National defense, national security, cyber security, military service, defense and security education, militia and self-defense force, reserve mobilization.

– Topic 8: Preventing and combating the legal issue in cyberspace.

– Topic 9: Building and managing militia and self-defense forces and mobilization reserve forces in the new situation.

Comrade Trinh Quoc Thu – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Military Art History, Academy of Politics was giving the lectures.

Party members and officials of 4 objects of Viet Duc University Hospital participated training courses.

At the end of the course, the trainees will do a hand writing report and send it back to evaluate the  results of learning process.
