Safe and effective vaccination against COVID-19 at Viet Duc University Hospital

In order to organize safe and effective vaccination against COVID-19, Viet Duc University Hospital (VDUH) in collaboration with the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology has trained on COVID-19 vaccination for doctors, nurses and surveyors of the hospital for this program.

 

From June 1^st, 2021, the hospital organizes vaccination against Covid-19 for medical staff at the Center for Anesthesia and Surgical Resuscitation – where there are many specialists for acute resuscitation well provided leading modern equipment. So far, all the first medical staff of the hospital who have been vaccinated are safe, the hospital has not recorded any adverse events after vaccination.

 

Due to the situation of Covid-19 epidemic is still complicated, hospital safety is always a top priority, ensuring patient safety, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment always goes hand in hand with epidemic prevention and control safety. The hospital has maximally prepared epidemic prevention and control measures for employees, actively taking preventive measures to protect the health of themselves and the community. In particular, the work of strengthening control, screening, threading, and appointment of early testing for the Covid-19 virus is particularly noted for patients and medical staff with suspected symptoms of infection; including cases with unclear epidemiological history to detect early, isolate promptly, absolutely not to late detection of cases.
