The 22-year-old man donated 4 organs to revive 4 lives

Brain-dead car accident victim, the young man B.N.T, 22 years old, residing in Xuan Loc, Hau Loc distr, Thanh Hoa province donated his organs, including: 1 heart, 1 liver and 2 kidneys to revive 4 lives.

 

 

Getting the news that their son was diagnosed brain-dead caused by traffic accident on April 28, 2021 and might lose a chance to be revived, Mr. Bui Ngoc Phan and Mrs. Dinh Thi Phuong, the parents of B.N.T, were dumbfounded. They have 2 children (T is the eldest brother and a younger sister who is at school age). T was always industrious, hard-working, obedient, loved by everyone. He has been working for more than 2 years, unfortunately the accident suddenly struck. Can’t believe their son passed away so suddenly while still healthy and so young, T’s parents were mentally broken. But with the encouragement of all family, especially T’s uncle – Mr. Bui Ngoc Phu, who encouraged T’s parents, spreading the organ donation gesture “Giving is hold forever”, along with the advice of Ms. Pham Thi Dao – Organ Transplant Coordinating and Consulting Unit, Organ Transplant Center, Viet Duc University Hospital, T’s parents decided to donate their son’s organs for medicine to revive life of other people.

 

After donating their son’s organs, the grief of his parents doesn’t seem to have subsided. But somewhere there are few people who don’t understand and some of the neighbors still say “This family probably sells their son’s organs”, breaking the heart of the parents. After tears of pity, Mr. Bui Ngoc Phan said: Because of the desire to save the lives of other people who are dying, our family agreed to donate our son’s organs to help them and also to let our son’s death still be meaningful and dedicate the best things while still possible, spreading humanity to many people. We hope that many families will overcome barriers and prejudices of society to donate organs to save lives if their loved ones are unfortunately lost.

 

“My family doesn’t ask for anything, just hope that the recipients of my son’s organs always live healthy and useful.“, Mr. Phan shared. And surely, on the other side of the world, his son will also be happy because his humane actions have saved many lives and made life colorful.
