Viet Duc University Hospital donated 400 million VND to support Bac Giang province for control of Covid-19 epidemic.

On 7^th June morning, through the Red Cross Association of Bac Giang province, representatives of Viet Duc University Hospital came directly and donated VND 400 million to Bac Giang province for control of Covid-19 epidemic.

 

Implementing direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat; Directives of Government, the Prime Minister and leaders of Ministry of Health; practical response to the call “All people unite, strive to prevent and control COVID-19 epidemic” of the Presidium of Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, promoting the tradition of solidarity with the spirit of determination to fight the epidemic. On June 2^nd , 2021, the Executive Committee of Viet Duc University Hospital’s Trade Union held “The launching ceremony of donations to support the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic”. Nearly 2,500 medical staff of hospital are actively participating, each person donates at least 1 day’s salary.

 

 

Prof. Tran Binh Giang, MD, PhD – Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Viet Duc University Hospital shared: Before the complicated situation of COVID-19 epidemic, the health sector was pioneering in the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic. Medical staff of many hospitals work very hard in hot weather. In order to share difficulties with medical facilities that are directly involved in the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic day and night, medical staff and workers of Viet Duc University Hospital have dedicated their special interest and sharing, the total amount raised is 400 million Vietnam Dong. Hopefully, with the community cooperation, COVID-19 epidemic will be pushed back and life will return to normal soon. 

 

 

Morning of June 7^th , the representative of Viet Duc University Hospital led by Assoc. Prof. Le Tu Hoang, MD, PhD – Chairman of Hospital’s Union came directly and handed over Bac Giang province 400 million VND to prevent COVID-19 epidemic. “The contribution and support of hospital’s union members will partly share the difficulties with medical units that are participating in the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic day and night.” Assoc. Prof. Le Tu Hoang, MD, PhD shared.

 

 

With the practical actions, Viet Duc University Hospital wish units, organizes, philanthropists across the country to take interest, share, join hands to support the first-line anti-epidemic COVID-19 to life soon returned to peace.
