Viet Duc University hospital has enjoyed the announcement of the “Tree planting festival”

Every spring, in the joyful and bustling atmosphere of the first days of new year, people in all parts of the country remember the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh: “Spring is the tree planting festival, make the country more beautiful”.

It has become a beautiful culture of Viet Duc University Hospital, every year, before the celebration of Vietnamese Physician Day 27/2, the Party Committee, the Directors Board, Executive Committee of Trade Union, Youth Union of the hospital coordinated to organize the announcement of “Tree planting festival”.

Participating in the launching ceremony of the “Tree planting festival of Quy Mao Lunar New Year 2023” that took place at Viet Duc University Hospital, there were delegations from the District Party Committee – People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Van district., Ha Giang province led by Mr. Hoang Van Thinh – Provincial Member, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council of Dong Van district. On the side of Viet Duc University Hospital, there were Prof. Tran Binh Giang, MD, PhD – Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Hospital; Assoc. Prof. Tran Dinh Tho, MD, PhD – Vice Director of Hospital; Assoc. Prof. Dong Van He, MD, PhD – Vice Director of Hospital; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Manh Khanh, MD, PhD – Vice Director of Hospital; Mr. Dinh Hong Thai, MA – Vice Director of Hospital and leaders of Institutes/Centers/Faculties/Departments.

Emotionally sharing at the ceremony, Prof. Tran Binh Giang, MD, PhD said: During a business trip to visit Truong Sa Island in 2022, the hospital was presented by Truong Sa troops and people with plants like Ficus Lyrata, Heliotropium foertherianum and send the affection of cadres, soldiers and people of Truong Sa to their families. Receiving that meaningful gift, hospital planted trees at the hospital campus nearly 120 years old and planted in the historic land of Tan Trao, Tuyen Quang province. Today, in the launching ceremony of the tree planting festival, hospital was very pleased to receive the gift of Jacaranda mimosifolia and Prunus Cesacoides from the delegation of the District Party Committee – People’s Council, People’s Committee, awarded by the Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Van district, Ha Giang province, thereby creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere at the beginning of the new spring, contributing to beautifying the landscape, creating a Green – Clean – Beautiful living environment.
