Viet Duc University Hospital has on site visit for DOHA in Bac Kan Provincial General Hospital

In order to support, improve medical examination and treatment capacity for medical officers at lower levels, to reduce patients overload at the central levels, recently, one delegation on mission of Viet Duc University Hospital led by Prof. Tran Binh Giang – Chair of  the Communist party, also Director of Hospital being leader, has came to survey, evaluate Health direction activities at Bac Kan Provincial General Hospital.

 

At the meeting, Prof. Tran Binh Giang – Director of Viet Duc University Hospital introduced about survey plan technical packages of project no.1816 in 2020, evaluated examination direction activities of Bac Kan Provincial General Hospital  2018 (Professional support, and direction activities …) and activities plan in 2019.

The delegation listened to representatives of Bac Kan Provincial General Hospital reporting on medical examination and treatment activities, directing the hospital’s route as well as the need to propose specialized fields to be supported.

 

Delegation on mission had a field trip to departments and evaluated Bac Kan Provincial General Hospital about human resource and equipment to receive specialized technical package transportation: Imaging Diagnosis; Anesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care; Gastrointestinal Surgery; Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery; Neurosurgery; Pediatric surgery; Orthopedic surgery; Urology surgery…

 

At the end of meeting, Prof. Tran Binh Giang highly appreciated the results of the directing of Bac Kan Provincial General Hospital in 2018 and agreed to support technical packages of specialties such as digestion, urology, orthopedic trauma. … according to project no.1816 in 2020. However, Bac Kan Provincial General Hospital needs additional equipment to receive the transferred techniques effectively.

The improvement of professional capacity and technology transfer from the central hospital to the grassroots level contribute to strengthening people’s confidence with the provincial hospital, increasing the rate of patients coming to the medical examination and treatment in here, help people to receive many modern techniques locally, not transfer.
