Viet Duc University Hospital has successfully organized the Youth Science Conference 2021

On December 22, Viet Duc University Hospital held the Youth Science Conference 2021 in the form of hybrid meeting. This is a useful playground to encourage the spirit of young scientist to do research and being creativity, exchange experiences in professional work and update advance technical methods in Surgery and Anesthesia as well as Medical Imaging.

 

 

Attending the conference were Prof. Dr. Tran Binh Giang – Director of the hospital, Chair of the Jury for Gastroenterology – Urology session; Prof. Dr. Trinh Hong Son – Deputy Director of the hospital, Chair of the Jury for  paraclinical – administrative session; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Tho – Deputy Director of the hospital; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dong Van He – Deputy Director of the hospital, Chair of the Jury for Neurology – Spine – Cardiology – Anesthesia and Resuscitation; Mr. Dinh Hong Thai, MA – Deputy Director of the hospital and members of the Jury, and other Advisory Board and doctors, nurses, technicians, staff of Viet Duc University Hospital.

 

Speaking at the conference, Prof. Dr. Tran Binh Giang – Director of Viet Duc University Hospital emphasized that Viet Duc University Hospital is a special-class specialized hospital assigned by the Ministry of Health to perform 8 main tasks, of which is scientific research, training for thousands of fellow/students every year, a place for the talented staff of Surgery in particular and Medicine in general to develop.

 

The hospital’s Party Committee and Board of Directors uphold the spirit of dynamism, creativity, and active participation in research by young staff doing medical examination and treatment, teaching and scientific research, contributing to improving the quality of expertise, affirming the position of the leading center of medical examination and treatment, training, scientific research and medicine in the country, on par with other countries in the region and reaching out to the world.

 

The Youth Science Conference of Viet Duc University Hospital 2021 with more than 30 scientific reports from researchers, scientists and young doctors have brought high quality products. Through a rigorous and fair working process, based on the criteria of appropriate research methods, scientific value, creativity, practical application value, report form and style, presenting time, the jury has selected and awarded the first prize for 5 topics, the second prize for 5 topics and the third prize for 5 topics.

 

With the direction from the hospital leadership, the motto of scientific research is to apply to bring real practical value. The hospital’s scientific research projects over the years have not only been recognized by publications in domestic and international journals, but also won many high prizes in scientific conferences in the medical field. It is also applied effectively in medical examination and treatment activities at the hospital and well perform in training and directing surgical specialty.

 

The conference is an opportunity for young scientists to exchange and learn experiences each other, improve the quality of scientific research in order to serve intensive and high-quality medical examination and treatment.
