Viet Duc University Hospital participated in the final round of musical contest for Health Festival 2023

On July 29, the Conference to honor the leaders who have contributed to the coordination and direction of health union activities for the 2018-2023 term and the Award Ceremony of the final round of musical contest for Health Festival on the occasion of Establishment Day of Vietnam Trade Union on July 28^th, successfully celebrating the XIV Congress of Vietnam Medical Union, for towards of the XIII Congress of Vietnam Trade Union which was held at the Voice of Vietnam headquarters (58 Quan Su , Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

Speaking at the program, Assoc. Prof. Pham Thanh Binh, Chair of Vietnam Medical Union said: The event will be an imprint, like a lever to help the activities in the health union gradually developing. This is not only a contest but also a special spiritual activity, helps to regain the positive spirit and energy of physicians, doctors and medical staff working in the medical field after the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Health Festival 2023 was kicked off from the beginning of the year with nearly 200 entries submitted to the contest, more than 3,000 union members and employees participating. The Judges have evaluated the preliminary rounds, online qualifiers and selected 41 performances, from 9 emulation groups of 37 medical facilities  under the Vietnam Medical Union entering the final round with many performances of unique contest, elaborately choreographed, giving the audience pride and unforgettable emotions.

As the result, there were 5 medical facilities won the A Prize, 10 units won the B Prize, 12 units won the C Prize, 9 units won the Consolation Prize. Viet Duc University Hospital Union won the B prize with the performance “Viet Nam oi chan troi rong mo”. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 5 other awards to the units, including: 1 Best Medical Song award; 1 award for best staging; 1 Most Impressive Award; 1 award for the most popular performance by the audience; 1 award for the best song about Uncle Ho.
