Red Sunday for the 15th time in 2023: Spreading the spirit of voluntary blood donation.

On January 5th, 2023, the Hanoi Police Youth Union held the launching ceremony of “Red Sunday for the 15th time in 2023″ at the presence of leaders of Hanoi Police and several hospitals.

Within the framework of the program, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on cooperation in the operation of the Youth Voluntary Blood Donation Rapid Response Club between the Youth Union of Hanoi Police and 6 hospitals, including the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Viet Duc University Hospital, 108 Military Central Hospital, National Children’s Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital and Hanoi Medical University Hospital. The communication channel is maintained regularly 24/24h between the Club Board of Directors and the Youth Union of hospitals accordingly, and club members directly go to the emergency room where the patient is in a life-threatening condition.

At the ceremony, the youth union members of the Hanoi Police participated donated 350 blood units. Voluntary Blood Donation Day has affirmed the pioneering spirit of the youth of Hanoi Police, contributing to building a civilized and friendly image of the Capital Police.

The Red Sunday with the message “Donating blood saves lives – Your lives and my lives” was first held in 2009 and has since expanded to more than 40 provinces and cities across the country. From the young people in the capital, Red Sunday received blood donations from young people and people across the country to save many patients.
